Craft
KidsGames is a 5 day program that will run at 100 locations across the Greater Brisbane area.
Programs vary from location to location; some half day, some full day.
Most programs cater for children in Grades 1-7.


The program contains sports, games, crafts, exploring stories from the Bible plus lots more.

The Greater Brisbane area has been divided into 5 regions – each allocated a colour from the KidsGames logo.
Every child gets a tshirt and every child gets a medal – because every child is a winner.


2,500 children enrolled in the Brisbane KidsGames in 2006.
Every leader is trained and has a current Blue Card.
KidsGames will operate in 140 countries in 2007.
KidsGames week ends with a ‘Closing Ceremony’ at your local venue. Parents are invited to attend to see their child receive their medal as well as experience some of what happened during the week.


KidsGames teams range in size from 10 to 150 children.
“Waxy” the WaterBucket is our official mascot.
Some locations provide morning tean and/or lunch. Check this website closer to KidsGames for a detailed list.
Leaders come from the local church/es involved and a ratio of approximately 1:8 is suggested.


Many KidsGames teams will pick up the Olympic theme for 2008.
Sporting champions, like Deborah Lovely, are involved in Opening Ceremony celebrations.
Opening Ceremonies will be held in 5 different locations across the Greater Brisbane area to launch KidsGames week.

Opening Ceremonies include a march past, games for all the family, entertainment and profiling some of the activities of the week.
Each of the 5 regions has been allocated a colour from the KidsGames logo.

Each KidsGames team comes up with their own team name and designs a banner for the Opening Ceremony.

Opening ceremonies run for 90-120 minutes on a Sunday afternoon.
